Russian flower marketplace Flowwow to enter UK market

MOSCOW, Oct 12 (PRIME) -- Russian flower marketplace Flowwow will enter the European market, starting with the U.K., and invest U.S. $6 million in business localization, hiring, and marketing promotion, the company said on Wednesday in a statement.

“The English market of online commerce is considered to be one of the most attractive in the world: despite the strong leadership of Amazon and eBay, we see demand for unique products and customized approach that opens huge opportunities for such peer-to-peer marketplaces as Flowwow,” CEO and co-founder Vyacheslav Bogdan said.

Like in Russia, the company will collaborate with small local brands.
